Three Notable Places in Rome

1. The house where Pietro Mascagni lived. I bought Callas and de Stefano singing Cavalleria Rusticana, and now I can not refrain from listening to "Regina Cœli, Lætare" at least three times a day. The house itself is at a great location, right on Piazza del Pantheon... Not bad for a starving artist as he was at the time.

2. The house where Benvenuto Cellini lived. His is a wonderful, probably reasonably unaccurate but still candid autobiography that's a good read regarding Renaissance/early Baroque era Rome and France. This is also a quite good location, near the river across from the Castel Sant' Angelo.

3. The place on via Caetani where they found the body of Aldo Moro. This is right off of via delle Botteghe Oscure, near Piazza Venezia. The actual building is the orange building halfway down the street on the left.
